Makeovers on Call-Hair and Makeup Services for Brides

Tara and her assistant from Makeovers on Call outside of the DC area, were fabulous to work with.  They provide on location hair and makeup services for the bride and family.  They arrive right at the location of choice for the bride.  This is an amazing service for any bridal party and family.  The bride and family can remain comfortable and not have the worries of traveling.  I would highly recommend Makeovers on Call for any bride.

Lindsey and Shawn-Falls Church Virginia

Lindsey and Shawn were married this past weekend.  Here are a few photos from the wedding, more to follow.  Lindsey was very composed and was elegant in her wedding gown.  This was a small intimate wedding in a fabulous location in Falls Church Virgina.  The intimate wedding took place at the 2941 restaurant in Falls Church.  (www.2941.com)

Lindsey and Shawn had their engagement photos taken in Cape May New Jersey.  

They loved photographing in their sunglasses.  

Their wedding is upcoming in Virginia.

The couple recently moved to San Diego and will be flying back to the east coast for their wedding later this summer. 

We had a lot of laughs and they were  a joy to photograph.

Corner Bistro-Silverside Road

My husband and I had a lovely dinner this evening, that I couldn't wait to share with everyone. We were actually shopping, and he saw this little restaurant called Corner Bistro, out of one of the store windows. We decided to go in and check it out.

It is this cute little restaurant, very stylish inside, and might I add....EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE. Our Waiter was great.  

I would definitely recommend.  The salads were great and our meal.  We were even given a surprise at the end...two chocolate chip cookies....

Now don't be surprised by the fact it does not look like a restaurant from the outside, and you wouldn't expect all the great things inside, until you go in....

Graduation Party

On Saturday, I had an opportunity to photograph Stephanie's graduation party.  If you remember, I posted her Senior Photo Session at Winterthur last week.  Although she did not feel well on party day, she did well at being an excellent host along side of her mom.

7/6/2008 Stephanie's Graduation Session at Winterthur

Stephanie had a fun time posing for the camera at Winterthur on Sunday.  She is a recent high school graduate.  She has a graduation party this weekend where she will be able to share some of her photos with her friends.  Stephanie is going to college in the fall to study education.  She has the qualities of a great teacher.  She has a big heart and a joyful personality.  We had a fun day shooting her graduation photos.
